Heading out in the morning to Gainesville to watch the national synchro competition at the University of Florida. This year Mackenzie had all three of her routines qualify so she will be a very busy girl this next few days! GO AAS!!!!
Steven has been a very busy boy the month of June attending summer school classes for 3 hrs each day. He was upset at first that I made him go because his grades were good and he felt it was a slam to have to attend summer school. The teacher had them figuring square footage, making a budget and following it based on their earnings. Each person in class had a profession....good life lessons they don't seem to teach in regular school. Today was his last day and I let him skip because he had the opportunity to go to the lake with Jon, Jessie and Adam. Jon and Jess also were meeting some friends that had a boat with a tube! That's all Steven had to hear:). I'm sure he's having a blast. Since I won't be home tomorrow he's spending the night. He and Jon have an evening of Wii ahead of them once Adam hits the hay. Then tomorrow, Jess and Steven are making some pineapple upside down cake and hanging together until John gets home from work.
My new camera arrived and I'm totally loving it! Who would have thought such wonderful improvements had been made since my last digital purchase!!! I promise to post photos next week.
Tracy Bannon turns the big 50 today. Last Friday night her husband Kevin through one of the best private parties I've ever been to. He arranged for 10 of us to have dinner in the wine cellar at Lon's at the Hermosa Inn. I'd never been there but Tracy and Kevin go often. The place was amazing...food, service, atmosphere....the whole package!!!
